The Cedartown High School boys basketball team had a magical winter last season, finishing second in the Region 6-AAA tournament and advancing all the way to the Class AAA state quarterfinals before finishing No. 9 in the final state rankings.
Now the Bulldogs basketball team, along with the Lady Bulldogs hoops squad and Cedartown’s wrestling team is looking for another magical winter.
The Bulldogs basketball team started try-outs and practice last week, without the services of the players still involved in football, according to Head Coach Benji Frazier.
Cedartown girls Head Coach Shereitha Allison said the Lady Bulldogs began practice on Monday.
Wrestling Head Coach Jerry Hartline said practice for the grapplers started on Monday for both the high school and middle school.
