The City of Euharlee will see one new face at its city council meetings next year.

Sam Carden won the councilman’s post Tuesday with 214 votes.

Three others ran for city office. Incumbent Joseph “Jo Jo” Turner also won with 201 votes, so he will be keeping his seat.

Incumbent Rick Braselton will not be returning as he only had 131 votes and Lance Jacobs, former city councilmen, didn’t fare well in Tuesday’s election. He came in last with 117 votes.

In the mayor’s race, incumbent Kathy Foulk will keep her seat. She had 219 votes over challenger Mike Miller, who netted 140 votes.
