On Thursday afternoon, members of the Cedartown High School girl's softball team gathered with Coach Chris McKelvey to receive a donation from Wal-Mart. Store manager Aaron Dye was on hand to present the check, and McKelvey said that the funds would be used for various things that the team needs.

"Every little bit counts," he said.
